It's the u in my life.
So it's been a day. Yesterday was horrible, if you ask me. The start of the day was a bad omen in itself. The train in the morning simply whizzed past me. When I got to Potong Pasir, the sky was overcast. The soy bean shop was filled with people, and after I bought my warm soy bean, it started drizzling. The light raindrops then grew to the size of soy beans when I was at the canal. Nice. Needless to say, I kept Tom and Anh waiting outside the guitar room. At the hall, Qixuan came in looking horrid. Accompanied her to the toilet and we were locked out for a bit. During P.E., Xinxin was hit straight in the face by the ball Foong Wai kicked. Then during the game, more people were hurt. I received my Econs results and it was atrocious. The interview I had was great though."Do you think everyone has the ability to lead?" "Erm, yes. I am a firm believer of the saying that leaders are..." (Struggles to look for the word, clenched fists rubbing against each other on my knee.) "Leaders are... Bred, not born." "You mean nurtured?" "Erm yeah, nurtured. I believe leaders are nurtured, not born." (Stares up to amused faces of the panel.) So yeah, you can say that it was smooth. Anyway, the horridness of the day hasn't ended. At night, when mom and dad and I decided to catch a movie, the house was packed with people and the show times that we wanted were selling fast. And not to forget, I was freaked out by a television commercial (the Pushing Daisies one, least you ask, and it's not funny). genevieve ♥ 0 comments |
