I'm a survivor!
Surprise surprise people! I'm still alive and kicking! Okay, maybe I'm not that able enough to kick but... I'm still alive! :DOverseas Community Involvement Project/ Programme (OCIP) camp was thoroughly crazy. I've done the most exercise during this 24 hours spent. When we were late, 1 minute means 10 push ups. When we left our things in the canteen - or anywhere for that matter - when we just had to go back to the bunk to get stuff and come back within 3 minutes, 10 pumpings for each item left behind. If we left our eggs (We were each given an egg to take care of and it was a respresentative of perhaps a friend that was injured or something and the egg cannot be broken.) or flag behind, I think it was 20 pumpings for each one. If we talked while the J2s were talking, another 10 pumpings. Crazy! If we didn't do the pumpings together, they'd add another 5 or 10. Then sometimes they changed it to jumping jacks. And I did it till my thighs had these weird and ugly looking red and bruise coloured spots. I reckon that within 24 hours, I did more than 100 pumpings and jumping jacks. This was what the blasted jumping jacks did to my thigh. We weren't given much time to do stuff. Getting from one place to another? 2 minutes. Changing into track pants and gather your stuff up? 5 minutes. Packing up your stuff and arranging the tables and chairs back into what it was before in the classroom? 7 minutes. Bathing? I think it was just 15 minutes. Time was seriously an issue and it was a mad rush. Everywhere we went we ran. We were all sweaty and smelly and dirty. There was this endurance run where we all had to run for 1hr 40min and 20sec. I completed it. Yay! genevieve ♥ 0 comments |
