Life is a sad affair.

I'm starting to wonder whether my emo-ness is just be being very stubborn. Perhaps I'm not that sad after all. Perhaps I'm just convincing myself that I'm very sad. Perhaps if I take a different perspective on things, I'd be much happier. Maybe I should be looking at the bigger picture and not be thinking about all the little details. After all, I still have a bunch of friends that I can fall back on. A bunch of lovely friends that would comfort and care about how I feel.

Alright Genevieve, perhaps you should snap out of your stupid self-pitying/ self-inflicted emo-ness.

Think of the good stuff like...
  1. You received a PSP for no apparent reason.
  2. You have someone in class who's birthday is exactly one month before yours. (Okay, that falls under amusing but, who cares?)
  3. You got in to a JC. And it's beside Anthony's school so you have someone to go to school with during Winter Training.
  4. You're going to meet your bitches next week (to receive O's results, but it's still meeting right?).
  5. You are able bodied and have the ability to serve others.
  6. You live in a well protected place called Singapore that doesn't have any natural disasters.
  7. You have a bunch of friends that care about you.

You should so seriously count your blessings, Genevieve.

Oh, and please don't forget to do your reflections. Didn't you realise what you've not been doing while you're being so emo? You're just taking things for granted now that things took a turn for the better.
